BREEZE®, the market-leading air dispersion modeling software used by environmental professionals around the world, released a new version of AERMET, a meteorological data preprocessing tool. AERMET processes commercially available and custom on-site metrological data to create input files into AERMOD for air dispersion modeling. BREEZE AERMET 7 is more powerful and easier to use with these new features:

  • Integrates the U.S. EPA 11059 AERMET and 11325 AERMINUTE executables
  • Follows Microsoft's user-interface design with intuitive ribbon bar for easy navigation
  • Validates input values automatically and highlights missing or unreasonable inputs
  • Incorporates recent U.S. EPA wind surface protocol changes seamlessly with the AERMINUTE utility
  • Calculates complicated land use values with the AERSURFACE utility
  • Guides users instantly with Tiptools found when users hover over a check box, button, input field, or text box
  • Highlights potential data processing errors with warning messages under the Reports tab

BREEZE AERMET 7 offers more functionality and innovative features-all designed to enhance productivity for air quality analyses. Our software is designed to be easy to learn and use because it adheres to Microsoft® development standards for intuitive, uniform graphical user interfaces, and features standardized toolbars, views, menus, commands, and dialog boxes.
